Dix-sur-Dix, Festiforum

In the within of Dix-sur-Dix, Festiforum organized by the Mairie du Xème arrondissement de Paris, Dena Foundation for Contemporary Art proposed two open days at the Centre International d’Accueil et d’Echanges des Récollets, where visitors were invited to visit the Artists in Residence and to participate at the creative activity carried out by a Love Difference.
For this event Love Difference proposed a continuation of the Mediterranean Carpet created during the Festival della Creatività in October 2009 in Florence. The idea was to create a bridge between Florence and Paris. Participants were invited to chose something that caught their interest on the Mediterranean Carpet and to transfer it to a new one, building a connection and an exchange between both cities.
While sewing, cutting, designing or writing the visitors had the possibility to taste some pastries (prepared in collaboration with the association Quattro Horizons) from the Love Difference Pastries project and sip some mint tea.
