Art and football for Love Difference
22 June, Fandango Incontri, Rome
2 June, Palazzo Marin, Venice

“Mediterranean Sea is a place from where we can begin to understand and love”, M. Pistoletto

In June 2011 part of the t-shirts of A.S. Roma football players were raffled off. The items were ideated by Michelangelo Pistoletto for the opening of the 2010-11 football championship, at Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
The t-shirts were part of the performance “Art and Football for world peace”.

The event was created by A.S. Roma, RAM radioartemobile and Cittadellarte- Fondazione Pistoletto to sustain Love Difference projects.
The t-shirts are unique pieces, signed by the Roma football players and Michelangelo Pistoletto, with a Love Difference patch on the sleeve. They were in a raffle on 2 June in Venice and 22 June in Rome.

Thanks to the contribution of the participants and donors, we collected the sum of 11.400,00 euros.

The funds were used for:
Mediterranean Cultural Parliament, a project that promotes the active role of art and culture to define and propose new Mediterranean policies;
Pouf! Workshop for the realization of creative sittings;
Cult Tour – an educational project based on visits to cultural centres.

Love Difference thanks all the people involved in the raffle for their trust in our activities and by the important contribution given.
