Practices for Intercultural Dialogue

Starting by analyzing the concept of Cultural Identity, Methods 2008, discuss the contribution that creativity can give in order to development relations between cultures. Active experts within the field of cultural mediation, communication and art for social transformation, present their projects about intercultural dialogue.
The 31st of July and 1st of August 2008 were presented at Cittadellarte–Fondazione Pistoletto "Babelmed", the magazine of Mediterranean cultures, "Migrants and Cultural Heritage", realization of a guided route of the conserved foreign heritage in the museum of the Piedmont, "San Salvario Sound Station", integration and multicultural education through music; "ZaLab", a laboratory for narrative videos to build an archive of African Migrants Memory in Italy.

An italian neighbourhood characterised by Immigration and therefore the existence of many different cultures, creates a new expression of intercultural dialogue by developing musical collaborations together.
