Refusal With Love at Milan Furniture Salone. Milan, 22-27 April 2009
The box Rifiuto con Affetto - Refusal With Love (RCA) will be this weekend at Fuorisalone, part of Milan’s International Furniture Salone, at the Fabbrica del Vapore, in collaboration with Best UP.
Publink invites us to bring our items to be recycled with love: the RCA box will collect them and give to those who want to re-love them, according to the principles of the "Life Cycle Design", or "a conscious and socially responsible design, which addresses the project from the perspective of the life cycle, to minimize the environmental impact of products and services in respect of the people and the planet”. A full documentation of the companies that have embarked on the path towards sustainability of products and services will be available to the public, as well as info on institutions, networks, associations and designers participating in ‘Best Up’ Round-table of Sustainability.
Publink is an art group formed by: Roberta Bruzzechesse, Maddalena Vantaggi and Maria Zanchi. The aim of the group is investigating the potential of the language of art, exploring the boundaries between public and private spaces, between the community and the individual, in daily life.
The project is part of the RCA Campaign “+ Life Cycle Design - CO2: social responsibility and environmental design”, sponsored by Best Up and dedicated to designers, schools, companies and institutions.
