AreaOdeon launches a call for young artists for 2009 edition of Explor-Art, Workshop of territorial exploration, which will be held in Monza (Milan, Italy) from 11 to 17 May 2009.
The initiative aims to investigate through the eyes of four international artists and twenty young artists, the spatial dynamics of the City of Monza and the Brianza territory. Twenty Italian artists, directed by four international artists, will work with different means of expression and techniques to find a new sense of reality around them: an interpretation to recognize themselves and to develop an open cultural and artistic project.
Each international artist will lead a group of five artists, with a total of four different workshops that will address the exploration and the territory, each one in its own way.
The call is intended for young creatives of any nationality, aged between 20 and 35 years. Applications must be received no later than April 30 2009.
