Movin’ Up: a fund program for the mobility of artists. Deadline for submission: 18 November 2005
Movin' Up is a program of funding, intended for young artists between 18 and 35 years of age, who have been admitted or officially invited by foreign cultural institutions, festivals, competitions, residences, seminaries, workshops, stages or similar initiatives, or artists, who are planning artistic productions to be carried out in foreign institutions. Considered artistic fields are: visual arts, architecture, design, music, cinema, video, theatre, dance, performance, writing. The program, promoted by GAI - Young Italian Artists Association, has an annual fund, distributed in two sessions. It allows the artists to partially cover the expenses of travel and/or stay and/or production in the foreign city. The deadline for the second session is Fridays 18 November 2005; activities beginning between January 1 – June 30, 2006 will only be considered.
