1988: Pistoletto and Love Difference at the Museo Pecci of Prato. From 1 November 2008
Saturday Nov. 1, at 6 p.m. at the exhibition halls of the Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci (Prato, Italy), the opening of “1988: twenty years before, twenty years later”. The exhibition, curated by Marco Bazzini, offers a route between works of art, which made history from 1968 until today. A journey through contemporary art, trying to patch some threads that bind the year 1968 to the present.
Works by Nanni Balestrini, Vanessa Beecroft, Anna Valeria Borsari, Gea Casolaro, Michele Dantini, Daniela De Lorenzo, Piero Gilardi, Ketty La Rocca, Fabio Mauri, Liliana Moro, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Pietro Ruffo, Andrea Salvino, illustrate a story of images of the past forty years. A story that use the poetry to some artists, who have endorsed some subjects born in that controversial season, or have been included directly from that season into our present.
The Table "Love Difference" by Michelangelo Pistoletto will be on display. The exhibition will be open from 2 November 2008 until 15 February 2009.
