ARCHITETTURAadARTE: in Spoleto, Friday 14 October, a meeting on the relationship between art and architecture, featuring Michelangelo Pistoletto
Architecture Paradigms and Artistic Paradoxes, the "common places" of the public space: the comparison art-architecture is the main topic of the meeting in Spoleto - Rocca Alborzoniana, 14 October 2005. The convention, organised by the Cultural Association "ViaIndustriae" - Foligno and the Cultural Association "Travellers on the Flaminia" - Spoleto, will host, among the others, Stalker/Osservatorio Nomade, Getulio Alviani, Mauro Staccioli, ArteContinua Association.
Michelangelo Pistoletto will present videos on Cittadellarte and on The Third Paradise.
The event represents the first step of a project, aiming at the analysis of the criteria and the modalities of participation in the city context, in relation with art and architecture as contemporary languages. The debate will face topics as the relationship between art, architecture and places from different points of view, with the contribution of artists, architects, critics, art historians, associations, town-planners, anthropologists, administrators, offering a reflection coming from their own activity and experience. The meeting has been articulated in two thematic and symmetrical sessions: "Arte ad architettura" and "Architettura ad arte", as a sign of the mutual tension, infuence, directionality.
