Like a man on earth: projections throughout Italy and a petition to the European Union
Thanks to the initiatives taken by associations, schools, universities, local authorities and cinemas across Italy, more than 30 projections have been organized of "Like a man on earth", the documentary by Andrea Segre on African migrants that Libya must stop on behalf of Italy and Europe (see LDN #102).
With the start of the tour of the documentary (sponsored by the Italian section of Amnesty International), Asinitas Onlus and Zalab have also launched an online and paper petition addressed to the Italian Parliament, the European Parliament, the European Commission and UNHCR in order to clarify the conditions African migrants in Libya and the responsibilities of Italian State.
