Michelangelo Pistoletto presents Love Difference
and “Letterature di Svolta” in Bologna, at Gallery Fabio
Tiboni Arte Contemporanea, 19 April – 31 May 2007
Michelangelo Pistoletto presents through eight mirroring paintings,
especially made for the event, the concept of Love Difference. The
exhibition will be the opening event at the new art gallery Fabio
Tiboni Arte Contemporanea, in the new cultural area of the city, hosting
the Museum of Modern Art of Bologna, Salara, Cassero, Cineteque, Cinema
Lumiere and the Art University.
Among Pistoletto’s works on display, the installation Amare
– salvagente (Love – Lifebelt); the gallery’s
project room will also host the Bolognese centre of “Letterature
di Svolta” (“Turning Point Literatures", website:
www.letteraturedisvolta.it),
the project curated by Cittadellarte and Agenzia n-2 collecting the
books which underlined huge changes and foresaw the major transformation
processes. Opening: 19 April; the exhibition will be open until 31
May 2007.
