European Young Entrepreneurs Awards Innovact: deadline for applications September 1, 2006
For five years now, the European Young Entrepreneurs Awards have, with the support of the European Commission and L’Etudiant Publisher, enabled young students to implement their projects at European level. Students (individually or as a group) with a creative idea for a business project can take part in the fifth edition of the European Young Entrepreneurs Awards whose aim is to reward new and challenging projects. Projects can either be in their design stage, in progress or already launched. The selection committee composed of professionals (heads of companies, journalists, scientists) presided over by Janez Potocnick, European commissioner for research, will reward the candidates who - whatever the product or activity- show imagination as creators.
The winners will receive prize money and will benefit from media coverage by magazines l’Etudiant, l’Express and l’Expansion. 1st prize: 3,000 euros; 2nd and 3rd prize: 1,500 euros.
Moreover, in order to encourage their projects, the thirty finalist candidates will be invited to come to a forum of meetings and discussions on the 18th/19th of October 2006 (transport and accommodation) during the 11th edition of Innovact, the European forum for innovative growth companies. The Awards ceremony will take place in Reims, during Innovact, on October 18.
Deadline for receipt of application forms: Friday 1 September 2006.
