Love Difference at the
opening of the European Exhibition for Young Artists in Genoa: February
24th at Palazzo Ducale
From February 24 to March 19 2006 Palazzo
Ducale in Genoa will host the last stage of the Salon Europeen des
Jeunes Createurs, an initiative of the City of Montrouge (France),
involving four European partners. The exhibition’s main purpose
is that of enhancing professional artistic researches, not still official
and recognized by the art system, substaining and increasing them
through the comparison with other similar experiences in Europe. Such
principles will certainly increase the Salon: it is already collecting
new partners, in order to offer a wider picture of the "tanks"
of new experiences in Europe.
On Friday the 24th of February, on the occasion of the opening of
the exhibition, Palazzo Ducale will host a meeting on the promotion
of young art in Europe, with the participation of the curators of
the five centres of the Salon (Montrouge - France, Amarante - Portugal,
Hospitalet de llbregat - Spain, Salisburgo - Austria, Genoa - Italy).
Fondazione Pistoletto and Love Difference will take part in the meeting:
Marta Tolomelli will testify how in Cittadellarte the great experience
of an artist (Michelangelo Pistoletto) has been transformed in a work
of promotion, education and communication of young artists.
