Michelangelo Pistoletto presents his work “Love Difference” at the new edition of Luci d'Artista in Turin, from the 5th of November
Luci d'Artista (Artist’s Light) will open the new edition of the art event “Torino Contemporanea – Luci e arte” (Contemporary Turin – Lights and art). Artist’s Light is a well known contemporary art event, which every year re-invents the city’s streets enlightening them with impressive installations. The event renews itself by finding a new place for the works of art, that are already known, and by selecting new masterpieces. The news for this 2005/2006 edition is Michelangelo Pistoletto’s “Love Difference”. Pistoletto, artist and creator of Love Difference, Artistic Movement for an InterMediterranean Politic, created a series of lights with the words “Love Difference” in many languages; these work will enlighten the front wall of Porta Palazzo Market, a place representing for Turin a mix of tradition and innovation, a cross-road of migrations and exchanges, where differences show up their potential richness.
Artist’s Light will open on November 5 2005, it will close on March 19 2006.
