Inner island: art of survival. Cittadellarte and Love Difference at 51st International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale
Cittadellarte and Love Difference will be at the island San Servolo from the 8th of June to the 30th of September 2005, on the occasion of the event curated by Achille Bonito Oliva for the 51st Venice Biennale, Inner island: art of survival. Bonito Oliva invited the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto for the first edition of Inner island. Cittadellarte, whose mission is that of “inspiring a responsible social transformation through creative ideas and projects”, and its offices (uffizi) will be presented at San Servolo, representing the ideal and practical message of Third Paradise. Love Difference will take part in the event introducing the collaborationn with Furla and the Love Difference Table Football project. During the four months of the Venice Biennale, the exhibition of Cittadellarte’s installations will be activated by events and activities curated in collaboration with Venice International University, San Servolo Services, local and international institutions, and the patronage of the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs. Cittadellarte and Love Difference will also organise interdisciplinary workshop activities, aiming to draw up planning of responsible social transformation in Venice area, enhancing its territorial and cultural features.
