“Art-chitecture of change”: an event for the opening of Isola Art Center and the Love Difference Office in Milan. Starting on the 8th of April at Stecca degli Artigiani
Conceived as the opening event for Isola Art Center, the exhibition curated by Marco Scotini at Stecca degli Artigiani (via Confalonieri 10, Milan) focuses on the relation between artistic practices and urban background in the setting of the public city. Starting from the lacking of a mere technical solution for the urban problem, and from the existence of political and linguistic solutions, “Art-chitecture of change” aims to register the transformation not only in the use of space, but also in its representations. In fact, the project starts from an actual experience, that of Isola district in Milan: an unsolved urban question, where public urban politics crash into self-organised transformation dynamics.
Michelangelo Pistoletto will be at “Architecture of change” on Sunday, the 10th of April, 6 p.m., for a discussion on art, design architecture, together with Marco Scotini and Ezio Manzini.
“Art-chitecture of change” will also be the occasion of the opening of the Love Difference Office in Milan, a centre for people interested in discussing on relational art, a central issue for Love Difference Movement.
