At Isola Art Center in Milan, from Monday April 16th: "situazionIsola - A New Urbanism"
On Monday, 6 pm to 9 pm, at Isola Art Center (via Confalonieri 10A, 2nd floor) the opening of "situazionIsola - A New Urbanism". The exhibition will be open on Thursday and Saturday (4 pm - 7 pm) and by appointment until May 15th.
The expositive project is born from the interest to interpret the cultural and social value of the experience of Island Art Center through the ideas of the "Internazionale Situazionista" of the sixties, particularly active section in Milan.
Love Difference will present, through a sound installation the "Passatempo" project, by Pippa Bacca, Alberto Mazza, Arianna Panarella, Noemi Satta, Maria Chiara Piraccini. (more about the project)
Other artists on show: Tomas Saraceno, FlyingCity, (project curated by Marco Scotini), Paola Di Bello, King’s, Marco Colombaioni and Bert Theis, Steve Piccolo with Xabier Iriondo, Donata Clovis and Manuel Scano, Luciana Andreani, Christophe Bouvet, Brice Dellastrada and Giovanni Giaretta, Mara Ferreri, Alek O., Alice Pintus, Luca Pozzi, Anja Puntari, Collettivo 3.2.1, Osservatorio inOpera, ufficio out, Forum Isola, Corso Graphic Design & Art Direction of the Nuova Accademia di Belli Arti in collaboration with the Associazione Genitori F. Confalonieri (“Piedibus”).

Livorno, Thursday April 19th, presentation of the book "Stazione Livorno. Una guida alla città"
At the bookstore Gaia Scienza (Via di Franco, 12) in Livorno on Thursday April 19th, 6 pm it wuill take place a presentation of the book "Stazione Livorno. Una guida alla città" ("Livorno Station. A guide to the city"). The meeting, introduced by Maria Chiara Piraccini (Love Difference) will see the interventions of Katia Anguelova (curator), Stefano Boccalini (artist), Alessandra Poggianti (curator) and of the co-authors.
"Stazione Livorno", published by Gli Ori, uses the form of the tourist guide as a tool for investigating the communities' inner dynamics, starting from the personal experiences of the many co-authors that have contributed to the project, born in 2006 from an idea by Stefano Boccalini and curated by Katia Anguelova and Alessandra Poggianti.
